Nose – Vanilla with a hint of ginger, dried fruits, sherry sweetness and wood smoke
Palate – Deliciously smooth, rich dried fruits and sherry balanced with wood smoke and spice
Finish – Sweet toffee and dried fruits, with wood smoke and spice
Recommended Cocktail
Blood and Sand
- Cocktail Glass
- 2 shots The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Year Old
- 1 shot Sweet Vermouth
- 1 shot Cherry Brandy Liqueur
- 1 shot Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
- Garnish with Fresh Cherry
Shake all ingredients with cubed ice for 10 seconds, fine strain into chilled cocktail glass
Maple Old Fashioned
- Short Glass
- 2 shots The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 barspoon Pure Canadian maple syrup
- Garnish with Orange Zest
Add 1 shot Macallan and other ingredients in short glass over 2 cubes of ice, stir for 15 seconds, add remaining shot of Macallan and orange zest, fill glass with ice, stir for 15 seconds.
